International supermodel turned DJ Tatiana Fontes spun her sexy track selection to a packed house last Saturday following a jaw dropping photoshoot for El Paso's newest culture publication, The City Magazine (due on Newsstands in early December). Sparklers, Glow-In-The-Dark Dom Perignon, and Birthday Cup Cakes were passed around in the DJ booth as the crowd looked on under a sea of C02 blasts and confetti showers! MEDINA DELIVERS SOLID PERFORMANCE TO SOLD OUT CROWD.
Last Friday Danish-Chilean pop star Medina rocked a sold-out crowd with a pumpin' performance of three of her well known tracks, as soon as the first notes of Addiction came flying over the sound system, Medina made a b-line for the stage from a side-door entrance and immediately jumped into her amazing performance clad in glamorous Minks and dark Coco Channel sunglasses.
Video cameras and iPhones all began popping up from the frenzied crowd as she waved enthusiastically to her adoring fans; who sang along with the star word for word.
"Plum City Lounge has had the most energetic crowd of any of my US tour dates", Medina later said on her way to the airport.
It's safe to say that between Medina's amazing performance and the throngs of fans, another magic night was created at Plum City Lounge!

Friday night PCL dresses up to welcome the much-awaited appearance of MEDINA. Best known for her club hits: You & I, Addiction, and Gutter. Jessica Mata to grace covers of Mode, Mode Las Cruces
Congratulations are in order for Jessica Mata, the winner of Mode Magazine's cover girl search.
The announcement was made late last Friday night at The Plum City Lounge, following the Mode Magazine 2 Year Anniversary Party.
Mata, a Marketing Director for The El Paso Fleet Center, will be seen on Mode Magazine's November Issue, followed by the cover of Mode Magazine Las Cruces in December.
Mata was named Miss Telemundo 2009 and Miss New Mexico Runway 2011 and will be competing in the Miss New Mexico USA Pageant November 10 - 12, winning at the state level will place Mata in the running for the title of Miss USA.

SKRILLEX & CREW INVADE PCL FOR OFF THE WALL AFTER PARTY:
The Mothership Tour landed amidst much hype for a special one-off afterparty at PCL this Monday.
Local DJ's Esteban Carrasco and Alftron Blkmth opened the night with drum n bass and electro, followed by a live PA by Deadmau5's mentor Steve Dudda, and a genre-busting DJ Set by the 12th Planet boys ... then Skrillex; the man of the hour, took to the booth to deliver a trademark set choc-full of Dubstep - much to the approval of the 500+ crowd of clubbers (one crowd-surfer included) who took to the dance floor to sweat it out! "The afterparty at Plum was actually way better than the main event!" said one sweaty clubber.
By the end of the night, 12th Planet joined up with event promoter Alby Blkmth and Skrillex, going back to back, as big-wigs and tour managers from Insomniac Events danced next to ravers and cute girls in high heels. Champagne flowed, vodka was gulped (until 2AM anyway), and hands were thrust sky-high into the thick early morning air.
